conditions for air

We had a bit of a fright with the A/C not working over the weekend, but the problem has been identified and sweet, sweet freon-charged air is once again flowing through the veins of Bobbhouse. I’m sure the night I spent barely sleeping convinced the universe that I really didn’t want or need another major home system to collapse on me. In the case of the furnace, it was a bit like ripping off a band-aid: wham, bam, $2400, ma’am. In the case of the A/C, I had all weekend to stress and worry about it, and then it turns out to be nothing.

So that must mean that the more I worry about something, the less it will cost to fix. Good to know.

Also good to know that I can now afford the yarn I need to finish Baby B.’s blanket. I picked it up again and started knitting, but I’m running low on pink, and acquisition of more is required for optimal baby coverage.

Having a gardener is indeed awesomesauce. I’m looking forward to coming home to trimmed bushes and ninja’d mulberry trees. I may even grill this weekend, now that I have a home that doesn’t double as an oven. Life is most excellent.
