coming this weekend….

Seriously, no one out in the Internet-lands has ever tried to make baked home fries?

Seriously?

Man. As if I needed an invitation to try.

Last Friday I weighed in at 161. I’m 157 pounds as of today. Both numbers reached using the scale at the gym, which always adds three pounds due to me not being, uh, naked. In addition to my massive flexed biceps, I’m finding jogging easier, though I still have to take it slow, but that’s fine because I don’t mind jogging slow. I like the experience. But not the shin splints.

The point is: the last time I weighed this much was about three years ago. I am hoping to be 140 by Christmas time, which will be the lowest I’ve been since…college. Possibly high school. I don’t know. It’s been a long time.

I’m a little giddy. I think I may actually do it this time.

Can I get a whoot whoot?

Nice. Downward trends always rock well with weight at least. Mine has hit the proverbial wall. Time to shake something up to get the weight moving off again.

I use a potato that seems to cook a bit faster, like a Yukon Gold, and spray them liberally with olive oil PAM, then bake them in a 400 degree oven until golden brown. Probably no more than 1/4 to 3/16 inches in width.
