I’m alternating between “wow, that sucks” and “wow, that’s awesome”. For once, I can’t talk about the awesome, and I don’t know how much I want to talk about the suck.
Other than to say I didn’t know Curtis too well, but it’s still a shock to hear he’s gone. If you knew Curtis, your reaction was probably the same as mine when you heard the news: “This is a joke, right?” 30-something guys just shouldn’t be having heart attacks.
It’s not fair. It’s not fair. It’s not fair.
Anyway.
The E3 river sweeps on, but on the bright side my biggest task is nearly complete, and I’ll be able to ease back a bit soon. I can’t talk about the cooler stuff going on at the office, because it’s business deals, and we can’t discuss those. Even if they lead to nothing, though, I’ve had some of the most fun in the last twenty-four hours that I’ve ever had with Visiting Dignitaries. It’s helped the funk that finding out about Curtis threw me into.
But it’s still not fair.

Crud WP doesn’t do 1337 very well. There was supposed to be a heart there
I have edited your comment to give you the heart you so richly deserve, Babs.
Use it well. Use it well.
You are so good to me, sis-o.
Greg called ‘cuz he’s here now and explained which Curtis had passed away. I didn’t know this one but it’s still very sad
If everything works out this time I’ll finally meet Nora’s son! I’m so excited. I’ve been hearing Christopher stories for years now…I’ll finally get to give him a huge Aunty Babs hug next week!!
